Be real with yourself for just a sec!

Picture this....

It's the weekend and you've already eaten and drunk your body weight in junk and booze. You tell yourself, "This Monday my diet starts. New week, new me."

The week starts and you are on fire eating well, not snacking going to the gym and then for no reason whatsoever you catch a glimpse of yourself in a reflection and you're back eating cakes and a big ole' pasty from Greggs.

Now what could the reason be?

Many times i have spoken to people about this exact scenario and it always comes out the same. Basically you are depriving yourself of so many calories that you just cannot take the prolonged drop for more than a week.

To lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit, however if you put yourself in too much of a deficit too son then the chances of you sticking to the plan is very unlikely.
